Holiday Gift Guide: Part Five

There are less than 15 days until Christmas and Chanukah starts tomorrow. Time to buy gifts is literally almost gone. Is every gift checked off your list? Chances are, no. There is no denying it that you will need to run out and buy some presents. These gifts run the gamut from gym rat, to beauty aficionado, to clueless in the bathroom and everyone in between. From now until the holidays, I will be featuring some of the best gifts to help you check off everyone special on your list. Make sure to subscribe, so you do not miss a single post.

Carol's Daughter Karite Nourishing Gift Set ($32): Carol's Daughter is known as the mecca for achieving the best natural hair, but recently the brand has branched out into skin care. This set is perfect for the one on your list who has sensitive skin, but could use that extra nourishment. The products are gentle, but will instantly moisturize dry skin leaving it velvety smooth. The set is currently on sale, so run fast to gift Creamy Body Wash, Body Cream and Hand Cream. The scent is subtle, but so warming. It is from the Shea Butter and Coconut oil.

Dare to Wear Nail Lacquer ($7): I was recently introduced to this brand of polishes and I am in love. The rich colors are applied with ease. They dry quickly, but do not chip quickly. These are a great stocking stuffer. Destiny is a deep green that is perfect for this time of year. It is not obnoxious and in your face. It is a great alternative to deep, wine reds. For a little shimmer, Supernova is a sky blue with iridescent in it. If there is a color you know someone will love, Dare to Wear has it. Polishes can be purchased online, or in local salons.

Diptyque Frosted Forest Unicorn Scented Candle ($70): I am obsesses with Jamie Beck's Instagram account Anne Street Studio. She is currently living the dream in Provence, France and documenting opening up the Diptyque advent calendar. The finest scents come from Diptyque and will transform any room and cast its spell on everyone that comes in its path. This candle is no joke. Christmas is like a unicorn: magical. It is green to evoke the Christmas tree and has a mix of the lush forest from fir needles, Hinoki wood and mint mixed together.

Truman's Gentleman's Groomers: Born out of the Gentleman's Grooming Shop in New York City, Truman's offers a wide range of easy to use products tailored to men. There are many gift options which are great combinations. There is the Shave Regimen ($60) that has the Shave Cream, Aftershave Balm and Facial Scrub. It takes care of the whole process from beginning to end. They have a great one with a dop kit ($99) to make travel easier. The Facial Regimen ($64) has the face scrub, moisturizer and cleanser. All their products smell as if they are straight from the spa, and infused with eucalyptus for a cooling effect.
