Some like it wet

I just got back from what can only be the most relaxing vacation I have taken in a while from Mexico. I did not bring back Montezuma’s revenge (YAS!), but I did bring back a killer, safe tan (or what I can achieve as a tan). I want to prolong it as long as possible. The key to keeping that tan is moisturization. As well, it is winter and we all know that wicked, bone chilling weather will dry out skin before you can finish this blog post. Moisturizing should always be a top priority.

While Jegens Wet Skin Moisturizer ($7) has been around for a while, I am always surprised why more people do not use it. Moisturizing works best when skin is fresh from the shower. It is freshest right after you turn the faucet off. Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer is intended to be used at this moment when skin is still wet. Blending with the water on your skin, you apply the moisturizer as you would when you are dry. Skin is open to moisturizer and it gets locked into skin. Then you leave the shower, and pat dry. Patting will get all the excess water off your skin. You are then left with moist, soft skin. Unlike other moisturizers, you are NOT left with that residue, sticky feeling that other lotions have the tendency to do. You can easily get dressed without feeling uncomfortable in your clothes. No matter what time of the year, this usually is an issue, but not with Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer.
